AirChannel AI didn’t start in a fancy lab; it started by watching real people work. Our founders spent years working with sales and support teams, and they kept seeing the same frustrating pattern.
They saw sales managers who were blind. They knew their team was talking to customers on WhatsApp, but they had no way to see those conversations. They didn’t know if a lead was being followed up on or if a customer was being treated well. The only way to find out was to physically take the agent’s phone and look at it. It was a mess, it was slow, and it was holding businesses back.
When we looked for a solution, we were shocked. The only professional way to manage WhatsApp involved signing up for expensive APIs that were hard to understand and even harder to set up. These tools were built for giant companies with huge IT departments, not for the fast-moving sales teams and small businesses that actually needed them.
The Moment the Idea Popped Up
We asked ourselves: Why can't we just use the WhatsApp we already have, but make it work for a whole team? We wanted to build something that felt like a Shared Inbox for the modern world. We wanted to create a place where a manager could sit at their desk and see every WhatsApp and Email conversation happening across the whole company in real-time.
So, we started building. We focused on the idea of an Air Channel, a clear, open space where messages could flow freely between customers and teams. We added AI to helpspeed up responses and analytics to help managers see the truth about their team's performance.
